Center for Knit and Crochet Seeks Board Member

Do you want to preserve the history and shape the future of knitting and crochet?

The Center for Knit and Crochet (CKC) is seeking an organized individual to serve on its board of directors to help lead CKC’s growth and development as a digital museum.  The ideal candidate will be able to work with software and collections development and may have experience or education as a librarian, but other relevant experience and talents are welcome.  Directors volunteer their time to contribute to The CKC’s growth and operations and should be willing and able to serve in operational roles.  The candidate would replace a director who needed to leave the board and would serve the remainder of the term which extends through spring 2024.

Those interested in CKC board service should contact The CKC’s Nominating Committee Chair Marilyn Huset at mhuset@centerforknitandcrochet.org with any questions.  This call for applications may be shared.  Applicants are invited to submit a letter/email of interest to Huset, with a resume or summary of pertinent experience by December 15, 2022.
