CKC Membership Changes and July 2020 Membership Drive

CKC Board Approves Membership Change

New scholars are everywhere, and CKC members’ needs and interests are vital to developing CKC’s online resources to better serve makers and the public.  CKC’s Board of Directors recently voted to update and expand CKC’s membership structure to be more inclusive and affordable.  

Starting July 1, 2020, during our first Annual Membership Drive, CKC membership levels will be as follows

  • Sustaining Members (formerly Charter Members) — $35 to join ($20 annually to renew) 
  • Annual Members (formerly Student Members) — $10 per year

We believe these changes will support CKC’s growth in positive ways, enabling more people who share the love of knitting and crochet to become active CKC members, content-creators, scholars, and leaders, and ultimately improving the scope and relevance of the online resources CKC is creating.  Both membership levels are open to anyone; you decide what contribution feels right for you.  Please support CKC’s latest step to ensure the future of our crafts!
